Those suffering from high blood pressure, diabetes, cholesterol and other chronic health problems are quite familiar with the routine filling endless prescriptions for medications to treat symptoms, with no cure in sight. But many are discovering it's possible to defeat chronic illnesses once and for all by going to the root of the problem.
According to Dr. Curtis Takemoto-Gentile, of the Integrated Healing Center, most ailments are caused by what we eat.
"An estimated 95 percent of the population suffers from Toxic Food Syndrome," says Takemoto-Gentile. "If we know which foods are toxic to the body, then by temporarily eliminating these foods, we can correct or reverse the toxicity and allow the body to heal."
Identifying foods that are toxic to a particular individual is as simple as a blood test.
"The Immuno 1 Bloodprint Test checks your immunoglobulin G antibody to see if you're having a 'toxic reaction' to 115 everyday foods," explains Takemoto-Gentile. "What most people don't realize is that normally healthy foods like wheat, milk, eggs, corn & can often cause a subtle but unhealthy reaction in their bodies. Over time, the toxic reaction builds up and can cause chronic health problems."
People of all ages suffering from conditions such as headaches, indigestion, weight gain, fatigue, and sinus congestion can benefit from a toxic foods screening. Even perfectly healthy individuals can prevent future problems by identifying their toxic foods.
The Integrated Healing Center is located at 2658 South King St. To schedule a free consultation and receive a free copy of the book, "Toxic Food Syndrome," call the center, at 955-1544.
